This is kind of sad, and a good photograph at the same time. The whole piano looks like a work of art.

 Someday maybe I'll remember this if I find an old broken piano... not that that will ever happen, but you know.

.... I don't get it. Is it just an old, broken, discarded piano, or is there some reason for it?

Naryx, I don't get it too. I saw this piano flowerpot on the street of Valmiera city and shot it. It looked interesting for me...

Ah. Well, that explains it then. I also take photography of things I find interesting. I don't put them on Deviantart, though....

Naryx, to be honest- I've a humor sense that isn't well with others sometimes. When I met my wife, she was sometimes angry on me (when I used mine black humor). But now she's OK with it, no problem. And that's why they say- if ya want to learn a man, U must to eat a pound of salt with him... :D

It would look really good if I could stop thinking about what an awful deed is to destroy a piano. No piano is so old that it canīt be repaired. I have one that is 200 years old and it works perfectly.

Sweetie, I don't know a story of this piano. But I can imagine a scenery, if this piano was found in an old collapsed building, in moisture and so on. I'm a joiner and believe me- I've seen a furniture what is impossible to repair, only to build a replica of it. But then it's only replica...

Oh I'm sorry I didn't really mean to attack the photo or anything. I just had this accumulated rage on people throwing out ok old things just because they are old aaand apparently I let it out here. Again- really sorry about that. I'll watch myself in the future.

As they say- life is life. I can tell ya one story bout another old piano (U can see it here [link] and there [link] ) It resides in my father's house but belongs to cousin of him. I could repair it, but she don't want to pay for may work neither don't want to sell this old piano to me. So bad insects continue to eat this old artwork, cos I don't want to put a lot of my work in this piano and after maybe she will sell it to another customer for good money. I hope, U understand me.

My piano also doesn't belong to me, but my aunt. She left the house and I learned to play. I didn't really want to, cause the teacher wasn't nice, but I went and learned for 4 years, because my parents said they would sell it if nobody played it. I left when I couldn't stand it anymore.Since then I just guard it and have a heated argument whenever somebody threatens the instrument :-D Nobody harms a piano on my watch.
